pay close attention...if you are into movies, and fancy seeing a movie lately.....I advise you.......DONT!! and i mean DONT!! watch scary movie 3, its the worst film since tomb raider!! lol i fell asleep trough about 40 mins of the movie, but the bits i saw were rubbish, the jokes were too obvious most of the time, and you could tell it was made buy a different team of people, and it was worse for it. and with the wayans brothers missing made the movie even more worse!!! funny thing is, when we were queing up, my girlfriends, mate was walking past and told us not to watch it, but she didnt listen!!! but honestly, save your money to see "lord of the rings" or "last samauri"
thats my rant over!! lol

i didn't like the first "scary movie" so i've avoided the other two. didn't think they were very funny. i won't go to see the third lord of the rings, either. my son says it's a great movie, but there's that spider thing...and i am an arachnophobe. i'd run screaming from the theatre. so i don't want to pay ten bucks, to become hysterical. if i wait for the video, then i can fast forward over that part. i have never seen arachnophobia, or eight-legged freaks. just the words give me the shivers. what's the scariest movie you've ever seen?

the scariest movie, i think is "28 Days later" its set in london, and a virus is spread, which make people lose control, and full of rage and anger, and all they care about is violence! so 28 days after the virus has spread over all the world, the movie focuses on this guy that comes out of a coma, and he has avoided the virus somehow, and the whole of london is TOTALLY deserted, apart from two other survivors.......and of course the few humans that are still infected and raging mad!! its a brilliant movie, with loads of scares, id say its a must see!! i never got that scared of a movie before!

i saw jeepers creepers 2...very bloody, but not that interesting. i haven't seen the first one. i'm not much for gory movies...i like scary movies that use your brain to scare you...like psycho, or another one i haven't seen for a long time...The Changeling. i think that one is the scariest i've ever seen. i remember watching hush, hush sweet charlotte, when i was about five, and i got scared out of my wits. had nightmares for weeks. saw it again just a little while ago. i think it was just me being five that scared me so much, coz it wasn't that scary watching it as an adult.

I have never heard of The Chageling. *goes to look it up on the Web*
1979, that's an old movie it is out on DVD and VHS though, I wonder if our video store has it. I will have to check.
The scariest movie I seen as I kid is ?, I don't know the name and I don't remember much about it other than it really freaked me out. The only things I remember is a creepy old man, a big house with a swimming pool and a pair of glasses that were round and I think cursed maybe. I was young when I watched it, maybe late 70's, early 80'. If I remember correctly the glasses made people drown. It may not have even been a movie, could have been a show. Does anyone remember anything like this? I would love to find out what it was.

the scariest thing that scared me on TV as a kid was, the gameshow called "bullseye". dunno if anyone remembers it, the darts gameshow? what scared me was, when someone got a question wrong, a cartoon bull called "bullie" would come from the corner of the screen and walk across the screen flipping the pages of a dictionary and make a bulls noise!! it would scare the hell outta me, cause i thought he was hiding inside the TV!! lol

toonmom, i think the show you're referring to is an old outer limits episode. there were a pair of glasses, and when people put them on, they could hear what others were really thinking about them. the glasses passed from person to person, and i remember one fellow with a nagging wife, who decided to kill her. then there was another fellow who tried using them as he played poker, and heard what all these snooty, rich people said about him, in their minds. oh, no, it wasn't outer limits...i can't remember the name of the show! it came on the horror/mystery channel for awhile, and was made before twilight zone and outer limits...dang! what was the name of it?

Was there a mansion with a pool? I remeber someone putting on the glasses and it made a person drown.
