Just wanted to share with everyone my great success at a local street festival, called The Fringe. There are buskers, performers, plays, and all sorts of artists and vendors along Broadway Avenue (Saskatoon, not New York!). I set up a table, chairs, and a sign, advertising that I was doing caricatures. Made a great deal of money (about $900 Canadian!) and got lots of return work, so there's more money! Best of all, people really loved my work and were very enthusiastic about their caricatures.
That's why I was off the board for a while. I'm back, and now I have to get ready for school in September. I'll post a few cartoons I did at the Fringe in a couple of days. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is doing lately!
