Did you get any cool artsy things?
Hubby got me "The Big Book of Cartooning" by Bruce Blitz. I got myself a couple of books on drawing manga (not a big anime/manga fan, but looks like fun to draw). My sister-in-law got me both "Stars" and "Stones" by Sebastian Krueger, had to order them so I don't have them yet (I can't wait).
Other than that, I got an under-the-counter cd player for the kitchen and some clothes.

Where do I start?
... TV, Camecube [hey it's not that bad], new mobie and some LOTR figures to paint.
Yes, that's what I'll do, I'll take a picture of them and show them to you, that's art isn't it?

Sure they're art!
GameCube IS that bad - just my opinion! My kids have it, I'm really disappointed in the games.

I didn't get much for art things for x-mas.
I got a PS2, which I love because I can watch DVD's in my room, and a whole load of stuff like plates and spoons for when I move out XD

let's see...i got cash, always good for boxing day sales...a new purse, which my daughter (an aspiring designer) studded so it's got grommets and studs, and cool stuff...a couple of paperbacks....some hot chocolate mix from my mom...and two stuffed monkeys, and a mug with a monkey on it. i painted a portrait for my hubby, of the two of us (many years ago, when he had hair, and i wasn't a frazzled mom) in the style of a harlequin romance novel. he loved it. had a talented friend tutor me on that. i don't play any video games...i get very annoyed with myself when i keep losing. plus, i just don't like to sit that long. maybe i should try it, though. what would be a good game to start with?

money. ! so i went shopping and bought new clothes. mmm new clothes. a hand-held sewing machine from mom and dad(i love altering/designing/making my own accessories and clothing. i make armwarmers, legwarmers, leather wristbands and collars and alter shirts and pants and stuff) a whole ton of CDs and a few DVD's from my brother and I finally own an original copy of the Transformers: The movie soundtrack along with a few Biker Mice from Mars tapes.. tons of candy too. aiiie. the closest thing art related was the sewing machine =) but that's good enough for me, it's what I consider my art and creative.
